The Mayor again asked him (P) when he (P) would set to work. In reply the pied piper said that he would set to work then.

“Will you buy my hair?” asked Della. “I buy hair,” said Madame. “Take your hat off and let’s have a sight at the looks of it. Twenty dollars,” said Madame, lifting the mass with a practiced hand. “Give it to me quick,” said Della.
Della asked Madame if she (M) would buy her (D) hair. Madame replied that she bought hair. Madame also told her (D) to take her (D) hat off and proposed that they should have a sight at the looks of it. Then lifting the mass with a practiced hand, she offered Della twenty dollars. In reply Della requested her (M) to give it to her (D) quick.

I asked my Grandmother whose picture it was. Grandmother emphatically (জোর দিয়ে) said that it was of a little girl. Then she asked me if I could not tell. I replied that I could. I again asked whether she knew the girl. Granny said that she had known her and added that the girl had been a very wicked one and she should have not told me about her.

The witness answered that he could recognize one, Hamid, in his village who had brought the members of the Pakistani Army to the village.

Addressing the woman as his daughter, the Caliph asked her why her children were crying. In reply, the woman told him that they had been starving. Then he asked her if she had none else in the world. She again replied that her husband had died some months before and left them neither money nor property and so they were in great distress. She also added that they had to starve sometimes. Hearing all these, the Caliph became sympathetic and told her to let him see how he could help them.

The teacher asked the students if they had heard the name of Aesop. The students respectfully replied that they had not and asked the teacher who he had been. The teacher advised them to listen to his lecture attentively and they would be able to know about him. He also exclaimed with wonder that his fables (পৌরাণিক কাহিনী) were very interesting and instructive.
The teacher said, “Have you heard the name of Aesop?” The students said, “No, sir, we have not. Who was he? The teacher said, “Listen to my lecture attentively and you will be able to know about him. How interesting and instructive his fables are!”

Fahim requested Arman to give him his English grammar book. Arman replied that he could not give it as he had to take it with him in the class. Then Fahim told Arman that he would return the gook before the class started. After that Arman told Fahim to take the book. In response, Fahim thanked him.
