Welcome to “EngLearners”

Your new online Testpaper

Many students here in Bangladesh lack basic grammar knowledge. This leads to having a fear of English. But the fact is, you can not step up unless you possess a minimum basic competence in English grammar. We cannot help you building your basic grammar foundation as this website is basically on applied English. You need to walk in the footstep of a top tutor to improve your grammar skills.
Either in a separate notebook or in your book (perhaps using a pencil), start making a list of useful words and phrases. Every time you find a new word you’re not familiar with, note it down with its appropriate Bengali meaning. Don’t only focus on the word itself, but search for synonyms, antonyms. Vocabulary is something that a student finds to be emphasized more and more once he is grammatically proficient.
3. Practice – Practice – Practice
Let’s face it, academic phrases won’t just fall from heaven and straight into your brain. Even if your English is already quite good, don’t be complacent and underestimate stressful factors such as the time pressure in an exam. You still have to practice, no matter how much time you have left before your big day (exam!). In order to bring perfection in your English skills, “practice” is a must! Englearners is proudly happy to let you do this job.
Never hesitate to ask your teacher, no matter whether your friends will make fun of your asking. Once you reveal your curiosity and find your answer, you are one step ahead. Ask as many questions as you have unless you deliberately want to make your teacher fall in trouble. That’s an immoral attitude. Anyway, don’t just read phrases. Ask why they are used in a particular way, whether other constructions are possible. Your asking habit will not just help improve your English skill, it will also assist you in all other subjects.
If studying English only feels like a burden, it will seem tedious and you won’t perform well. This is why it’s important to stay motivated and enjoy the experience of learning this global language. Find ways to add entertainment into your studies, such as playing word games with friends that will boost your critical thinking skills.
Obviously, learning a new language is a long-term project and you can’t start from zero and sit for exam a week later. But building on a decent foundation, you can achieve great results quickly if you devote yourself intensely.
